Get the most money for your surplus equipment
We remarket
and sell the following types of equipment:
- Bakery Equipment
- Restaurant Equipment
Anyone can use this service with no
work or expense on their part, yet you will maximize
your return with no liability.
Quipcon Inc does all the work.
We have
a better way to maximize the return on the sale of your used surplus
equipment.
What are your
options?
Auction
This type of sale offers fast cash but at the lowest price (10-25% of new) and you still pay commission
to the auctioneer.
Outright Sale
This can save the commission
but you still only get bottom
dollar and you have to do all the work.
Consignment
This offers twice the return to
you with no cost, work or liability on your part.
How
does consignment work?
With
our consignment program we clean and make your equipment look and function as
near to new as possible.
There
is no out of pocket cost to you
1.
We disassemble, pick up and remove all the equipment from
your premises to our warehouse.
2.
Each item is given a distinct inventory number to
track on our computer.
3.
The work to clean and recondition the equipment, including
replacement parts, is done by our professional service people at our cost. We
do not spend any money to clean or recondition equipment unless it increases
the value of the item above our cost.
4.
The cost to pack and ship the equipment, including the
freight, is charged to and paid for by the purchaser.
5.
We purchase miscellaneous equipment outright for immediate
cash.
The
cost of cleaning and reconditioning the equipment is deducted from the actual
sales price, with the balance split 67% to the owner and 33% to Quipcon.
This
allows us to market the equipment worldwide. It's guaranteed to work and
covered by a 60-day warranty. Because we have taken the risk out of buying used
equipment it sells, on average, for between 40-60% of new or greater and
not for bottom dollar.

questions:
1.
How long does it take to sell the equipment?
Normally 1-3 months depending on type, age and condition.
The new equipment sells the fastest, but even a 20 yr old item has value that
can be maximized.
2.
What if I need money right now?
We pay competitive prices for all
miscellaneous items upfront when they are included with a total package. We
also offer various programs that will immediately advance you cash, however, the
consignment split percentage is adjusted.
3.
When do I get paid?
We settle up each consignment account
by the 15th of the month following a sale. Items are only taken off
the market with a 35% deposit from the purchaser for shipment at a later date.
Nothing is shipped unless paid in full.
4.
What type of documentation do I get?
a.
You will be given a consignment contract to sign which
states the terms and conditions for each party.
b.
We will send you an itemized list detailing the equipment
picked up and each Item will be given a distinct inventory number.
c.
We have a running computer report detailing all the sales by
Inventory number, costs to pick up and refurbish the equipment and payments made. This
report is sent each month with the payment and it can be run for a specific
period of time (i.e. yearly sales ) which is available at any time.
5.
What if I want my equipment back?
Provided a specific item is not sold or
on hold with a deposit, you can pick up the equipment by paying in full any
outstanding costs incurred by Quipcon Inc, plus a small storage fee.
6.
May I have references from satisfied consignees?
We will be happy to provide you with a list of
